1957–58
Unbeaten in league duals; district team title lost by two points
Northampton went 7–0–2 in the Lehigh Valley League, second to Allentown (8–0–1). The ties were 18–18 with Easton, after trailing 9–0, and 17–17 with Allentown, which ended Allentown's 33-meet winning streak. A 61–0 win over Southern Lehigh set a league scoring record. Hill School won a non-league meet 22–16 on Dec. 7.
At District XI, Northampton had six finalists, the most of any team, and led Bethlehem 61–60 going into the 185-pound final. Bethlehem's Bill Werst won that bout over Charley Kuntzelman on a referee's decision after 3–3 and 5–5 overtime, and Bethlehem took the team title 70–68. Gordon Bartholomew was Northampton's only champion, winning 154 by 3–0 over Nazareth's Bill Kraemer.
