15–3 season with three Regional Champions
Northampton won three Northeast Regional titles: Brad Billy (119), Stan Reuben (126) and Jeff Kaboly (167). Billy and Kaboly were also District XI AAA Champions. Brad Billy placed fourth and Reuben sixth at the PIAA Class AAA tournament. The team was third at both districts and regionals.
Northampton went 15–3 in duals and 9–2 in the East Penn League, tied with Phillipsburg for second. The team won the Christmas City Tournament and beat Easton 33–20 on Jan. 4 in the new junior high gym.
