Third straight league title at 6–0; league tournament won again
Northampton won its third straight Lehigh Valley League title at 6–0, clinching it with a 40–13 win over Catasauqua in late January. Other league wins included Stroudsburg 32–19, Whitehall 44–9, Slatington 33–14 and Lehighton 38–5. Non-league losses came against Phillipsburg 30–12, Hill School 26–23 and Allen 39–6.
The team won the second Lehigh Valley League tournament on Feb. 12 with four champions: Jack Hildenbrandt (103), Tony Mauser (112), John Toth (127) and John Faryna (154). In December, Mauser ended Stroudsburg's Tom Coco's 21-meet winning streak. Northampton scored 3 points at District XI.
